Questions, answered.

The essentials on getting set up, the field app, pricing and UK compliance. Can’t find it? Email hello@worksum.co.uk.

How do I get started?

Register your company, and you can explore the whole system on live demo data straight away — no card, no sales call. When you’re ready, add your own clients, sites and engineers (or bulk-import them from a spreadsheet) and raise your first job.

Does the field app work without signal?

Yes. The engineers’ field app is offline-first: they can start and stop timers, add materials, tick checklists and capture photos/signatures with no connection, and everything syncs the moment they’re back online.

How does pricing work?

One flat monthly price per plan, billed annually (pay monthly for 20% more): Starter £55 (up to 2 users), Lite £99, Pro £189 and Business £299 (each up to 5 users). Need more people? Extra users are a flat £15/mo each on every plan. Every plan starts with a 3-day free trial and needs no card up front. There are no setup fees.

Can I get my data out?

Always. Worksum has one-click full data export of your jobs, clients, sites and invoices. Your data is yours — there’s no lock-in.

Is it built for UK compliance?

Yes. Invoicing handles VAT (including the domestic reverse charge), CIS deductions and retention, and Worksum issues the compliance certificates UK trades actually need — EICR, fire alarm, emergency lighting, CCTV and access — as branded PDFs, alongside RAMS and vehicle walkaround checks.

What integrations are there?

Two-way Xero accounting sync, per-engineer Microsoft 365 calendars with Teams links, and a Clockin GPS time link. More accounting and payment integrations are on the roadmap.

What support do I get?

Every customer can reach us by email at hello@worksum.co.uk, and there’s guided onboarding and data import to get you moving. Priority support with an SLA is included on the Business plan.

Can engineers clock travel and breaks?

Yes — Worksum has a native tablet clock-in station where the crew clock into a job, travel or a break with a PIN. The office can choose which options appear and whether travel/break count as paid, and the hours flow straight into timesheets and job costing.
